Practice Summary
Jonathan works primarily in complex, multi-party matters and class proceedings involving competition law, consumer issues, and privacy rights. He regularly represents clients in employment matters, intellectual property disputes, and litigation in the franchising, licensing, and distribution industry, including in cross-border disputes. Jonathan has considerable expertise in professional liability and discipline, and is listed as LawPRO preferred counsel. Jonathan is a creative and tenacious lawyer who applies his academic background in the fields of public policy, statistics and economics, to a wide range of legal matters. He has appeared in all levels of court in Ontario and before various regulatory bodies, and has worked on a wide range of public-interest matters since his call to the Bar.
