Louis Alexopoulos

As counsel to the firm, Lou continues to lead our private client practice team focusing on estate planning and administration. He has extensive experience advising private clients and businesses across a wide range of sectors, primarily servicing their commercial, real estate and estate planning needs. Lou’s current practice focus on estate planning and administration is built on many years of having advised on all aspects of real estate and business transactions including the buying and selling, leasing and financing of commercial real property, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate restructuring, inter-generational transfers and wealth and succession planning. He is co-trustee with corporate and individual trustees in administering family trusts on behalf of our clients. Lou has worked with a wide range of clients throughout various industries including banks, franchisors, biotechnology companies, and not-for-profit corporations in the health sciences field. Lou is a member and past president of the Hellenic Canadian Lawyers Association. He is a past commissioner of the Ontario Human Rights Commission, and a past member of the Board of Directors of the Toronto Board of Trade. He currently sits as a director on the boards of various private companies.
