Pouya Dabiran-Zohoory has joined the firm

Sotos LLP is pleased to welcome Pouya Dabiran-Zohoory as an associate.

Pouya is a litigator with experience working on large-scale class actions and aggregate claims. He has an interest in human rights, economics, and international issues given his undergraduate degree in commerce, and past human rights work experience. Pouya is skilled at negotiating or appearing before the court. Prior to joining Sotos, Pouya articled at the Crown Law Office – Civil, where he worked on significant commercial, constitutional, and class action litigation involving the Province, before all levels of court in Canada.

Pouya graduated from McGill’s Faculty of Law where he was the Executive Online Editor at the McGill Journal of Law and Health, and published articles focusing on issues related to climate change liability and national/international civil claims. He also volunteered at the Innocence Project.

Pouya has working proficiency in French and speaks Farsi.
